I can't tell you how excited I am to be opening our studio again. (Although, I'm going to try.) We have been dedicated to maintaining our clients' safety and health. During this time of unease and risk, we have taken this time to thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sanitize our studio and its contents. However, being newborn and child photographers, we have always striven for above-average cleanliness. As parents ourselves, we understand how important it is to consistently keep things clean.
We have also used this time to further educate ourselves regarding safety practices to utilize during newborn sessions. While this has always been a priority, as well, we have taken these past few months as an opportunity to continue to grow in our newborn safety procedures. I, personally, have taken at least 6 premium newborn courses to increase my knowledge regarding how to properly handle and photograph new babies. This knowledge is invaluable when you consider that newborn photographers are in charge of safely manipulating your tiny humans into various poses that can be dangerous without proper education and know-how.
As we start to welcome back our clients, we are doing so safely and with caution. We will space out our sessions enough to ensure we are able to thoroughly clean and sanitize our props and studio before our next session. We will continue to wear masks during interactions with clients and during sessions. We'll ask that our clients inform us prior to their session date and time if they have any symptoms or concerns.
We have greatly missed our clients and photographing your families and new arrivals. If you are pregnant and interested in hearing more about our newborn sessions, please feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call. We'd love to have a chat with your regarding what your photography hopes are and if we can be that perfect fit for your family. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
