~ A Guide To Your Inner Thighs ~
If you've never had the pleasure of experiencing a boudoir photoshoot, you might feel a tad anxious about what to expect. Good news, I have all the deets and I'd love to share some behind-the-scenes inspiration to get you ready for your boudoir session. (Because, for real, you should schedule a boudoir session...like, yesterday.) Below you'll find some of my favorite boudoir poses with some real talk so you will have a realistic approach when you're deciding whether you should book your boudoir photoshoot and what to expect.
First up...Arch That Back
Everybody's favorite, back-arched. Seriously, I love this pose. It's super sexy and flattering. It shows off your curves to their best advantage. Best part about this pose is the ability to use it in almost every set-up and theme. You can arch that back off of a chair, the floor, a bed, wall...the possibilities are endless.
A bit of behind-the-scenes sharing, and I'll be honest, you'll be tired of hearing "arch that back" by the end of your session. So many of my boudoir clients probably have some kind of flashbacks if they even hear a similar statement. Side note, limber up before your session. These poses can be a bear and you will definitely feel it for the next few days.
You knew Booty-Up would make the list...
Once again, this is a pose that most every body looks sexy in. Plus, just like arching that back off of nearby props works, thus goeth the same way for booty-up pose. Ladies, this is such a confidence-inducing pose. It really focuses on the curves of your body. I love having every boudoir client at least attempt this pose. Even if they don't feel confident with their rear-end, we always try it. I've never had a boudoir client walk away without this being one of their favorite poses.

Sitting With One Leg Folded
I adore this pose. The simplicity with implied intimacy is what really drives this pose to be sexy. It showcases the lines of your body while the implication of hidden body parts is prominent. Arching your neck and throwing your head back completes "throes of passion"-look you really want to capture during a boudoir photoshoot.
Lingerie as a Prop
Playing with panties/lingerie, pulling up thigh-high stockings, exposing shoulders by dropping bra straps, and other poses where we utilize what you're wearing to our best advantage. Yet again, this is a great way to expose intimate aspects of your body while simultaneously portraying the sexy allure of your body.
Time to Feel Sexy
Now that you've had a glimpse of some of my favorite boudoir poses, some of the mystery surrounding a boudoir session should be a bit more apparent.
